Carolyn Ou has been coaching and advising professionals and students towards their career and life goals since 2003. She brings to her practice twenty years of combined experience as a management and communications consultant, college Dean, and marketing copywriter.

She is an experienced guide who understands the importance of combining creativity, intuition and innovation with structured goal-setting and planning.  And whether she is working with someone on their personal strategy, or guiding a Board of Directors through a visioning exercise, Carolyn brings to the table a unique combination of analytical and creative perspectives and insights.

She received her MBA in Strategy from Indiana University and her BA in Comparative Literature and Renaissance Studies from Brown University. She is trained in Co-Active Coaching by the Coaches Training Institute and is the author of “Innovative Leadership in Higher Education,” a six-series graduate-level leadership course being offered by Norton Norris Consulting (available through MaxKnowledge).
